Family owned and operated, the Cooler Lounge has been a local favorite for friendly service, cocktails and gaming for twenty years. Nearly three decades ago, owner Fred Milton began his enterprise downtown with the establishment of Dick's Liquor, and on May 8, 1981 he moved his operation to Northwest Las Vegas, bringing the Cooler Lounge to life. Though the Cooler has always boasted an eclectic and boisterous crowd, several years of live punk performances by bands such as R.K.L., T.S.O.L., Angry Samoans, Bad Samaritans, Dr. Know, the Supersuckers and many others have made the Cooler truly an original Vegas must-see.
